Navigation at scale. Operations intelligence included.
High-volume hub airports handle tens of thousands of passengers daily across multi-pier, multi-floor environments. GlidePath Air delivers positioning accuracy and operations data at that scale — without the hardware infrastructure that scale traditionally demands.
What gets harder as the airport grows
Multi-floor complexity
Routing across piers, mezzanines, and multiple concourse levels requires a graph that handles elevators, escalators, and stairwells — and knows when each is in service.
Frequent gate changes
Hub operations generate dozens of gate changes per day. A wayfinding system that requires passenger action to reroute is useless. GlidePath Air detects changes and reroutes silently.
High-volume concurrent sessions
Boarding rush periods can send thousands of passengers searching for gates simultaneously. The platform handles concurrent navigation sessions without degradation.
Operations visibility
Ground operations teams at hubs need live situational awareness — passenger flow, dwell hotspots, PRM session presence. GlidePath Air provides this layer today; per-gate utilisation and explicit security-queue-depth scoring are on the roadmap.
Built to handle complexity from day one
GlidePath Air's routing engine and analytics platform were designed for hub-scale operations — multi-pier, multi-floor, high concurrency.
Multi-floor routing
Routes calculated across unlimited floors with automatic transition selection — elevator, escalator, or stairs — weighted by passenger mobility profile.
Instant gate change delivery
Gate changes are pushed to every active navigation session in real time — triggering a voice alert, a haptic confirmation, and a new route within seconds of the change being entered.
Live ops dashboard
Nine analytics tabs covering live flow, dwell, processing time, PRM presence, and destination demand — all from navigation session data. Tab-by-tab depth tagged on the Insights page.
PRM ground-staff visibility
Reduced-mobility passengers appear in the live map with current position and route. Proactive "falling behind" alerts to ground staff are on the roadmap.
Open data model
Sessions and analytics live in your own PostgreSQL with a documented JSON API. Your BI team can query directly today, and a built-in Power BI streaming push (env-activated) sends live metrics to a streaming dataset; Grafana / Tableau / webhook outbound connectors are on the roadmap.
Auto-reroute on path change
If a corridor is temporarily blocked or a gate lounge changes, the router detects the deviation within seconds and proposes an updated route without passenger input.
